It turns out that there is even more evidence to support that online learning can be as effective, and in some cases more effective than face-to-face offerings.  The Associated Press reported on January 14, 2005 that colleges across the country are incresing their online class offerings, and the students learn just as well as in class, and they benefit at the same time from flexible scheduling.

Of coures online learning takes discipline from the students, but motivated learners can get great results from the latest approaches to online learning. A 2004 report from the Sloan Consortium confirms that online learning is an increasingly important and effective component of the modern learning landscape.
